Saint Paul is the capital and one of the largest cities in the state of Minnesota. Located on the east bank of the Mississippi River, it's next to Minneapolis, and together these two cities are known as the Twin Cities. There are many things to do in Saint Paul, like visiting the city's squares, parks, towers, and historic buildings. One of the main things to see in Saint Paul is the Como Zoo -- and it's one of the best attractions in Saint Paul for families. It was the first zoo in Minnesota and it has different exhibits, including Galapagos tortoises and flamingos. Another one of the places to visit in Saint Paul is the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory. Inside are beautiful gardens and sculptures -- you can see both a Japanese garden and a tropical forest. It's definitely one of the best Saint Paul attractions and a great place to stroll.
More stuff to do in Saint Paul includes visiting the Sculpture Garden with its 40 pieces of art, such as Spoonbridge and Cherry, or the Wabasha Street Caves, which you can visit on a guided tour -- this guided tour is one of the many recommended Saint Paul activities. Finally, the Minnesota History Center is one of the most impressive buildings in the city -- check out its long dome and bronze doors. Its interior hosts the sculpture called "Charm Bracelet".
