The best things to do in Ciudad de México

Are you organizing your trip to the city, but don't really know what to do in Mexico City? Well, it's the largest city in Mexico and the tenth most populous city in the world, so there's lots of stuff to do in Mexico City that will surprise you, pretty much anything you can imagine. Since it's such a large city, you should organize
Ciudad de México activities
by neighborhoods or
areas. In the north, you can start with the Villa de Guadalupe, the main religious neighborhood where
the main festivities of the anniversary of the Virgin of Guadalupe
are held
every 12th of December. It is perhaps one of the greatest Catholic symbols of religious fervor in the country. Also in the north, Santa Maria la Ribera is a traditional colony of great architectural and historical value among the many things to see in Mexico City. In the downtown area, one of the best things to do in Mexico City if you want to take a break is to walk through the residential neighborhood of La Condesa. The area has a lot of cafes, bookstores, restaurants, galleries and boutiques. La Zona Rosa, a neighborhood formerly dedicated mainly to art and culture, now focuses on trade. It's also home to many nightclubs and bars for young people and a meeting point for the LGBT community. Other places to visit in Mexico City related to culture includes Coyoacan, one of the most attractive neighborhoods for both domestic and foreign cultural tourism. It's home to many of the most important museums and attractions in Mexico City. Some of the many Mexico City attractions that you have to visit without fail is the Plaza de la Constitution, informally known as the Zocalo, as well as the Metropolitan Cathedral of Mexico City, located in the city center.
