Aquileia is an Italian town in the province of Udine. It's an ancient Roman city on the Adriatic Sea close to the edge of the lagoons, just a few kilometers inland, on the river Natiso. One of the main places to visit in Aquileia is the Basilica. The first part was built in the year 313. Another one of the most interesting tourist attractions in Aquileia, along with the Cathedral, is the Roman Forum. La Loba Capitolina is a bronze sculpture of a she-wolf suckling twin babies, inspired by the legend of the founding of Rome.
