    One of the most important places to visit in Amiens is the Notre Dame d'Amiens Cathedral, a Gothic cathedral following the stylistic influence of Notre-Dame de Paris and Notre-Dame de Chartre.

    It is the largest and highest cathedral in Amiens and of all the French Gothic cathedrals.
    Since 1981 it has been recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
