Zoo Museum
Founded in 1932, the Civic Zoology Museum has a heritage of 5 million preserved specimens ranging from mollusc shells to a 16-meter sperm whale. These collections derived from an agreement with the University of Rome which collected the prestigious Pontifical Archiginnasio collections, partly from donations to this institution.
