Beautiful scenery
Zapallar is a village which is now a summer resort, popular with the Chilean upper class. For this reason, it is very expensive, but it is worth taking a look because of its stunning scenery and turquoise waters. We took a bus near the port of Valparaiso, they run every 40 minutes. Zapallar is 80 miles away from Valparaiso. It has a very beautiful coastal road, ideal for drinking mate on large rocks, watching the birds go by.
