Zagreb

Zagreb, capital of Croatia, is a city with a tiny old town (you can see it all in a day or two. We chose to go because it was well connected by train, and we loved it. You could notice a strange silence that is very different from other European capitals. It's amazing how fast they have grown, especially considering that not long ago they were at war. You can stay for a good price, and it is only a 2 minute walk from the train station and the old city.
