Indescribable
The Yuki Akari no Michi is the most important annual event in the quiet town of Otaru . It's related to a tradition that unites ice, snow and fire. Within Japan, it was one of the visual performances that I liked the most. The path between candles hidden in the snow and ice sculptures is indescribable. Although the event doesn't enjoy the popularity it deserves, it's getting increasingly more tourists (mostly Japanese from other parts of the archipelago), yet the atmosphere is still magical. Make sure to prepare for the cold!
