Cancun

It's the end of the trip. Getting to Cancun has been pretty easy, except for part of 100km and being lost in the jungle between Felipe Carrillo Puerto and Tulum, a road without people, with horrible rains, but then we made up for it with two days of rest in the beautiful beaches of Tulum. The area suffered greatly from the 2005 hurricanes, but it's getting back on its feet and reopened to tourists. There are very few people on the beach, because of the hurricanes, but for me that is best. Other cities are very Americanized, Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Yucatan I preferred to continue to the city of Merida.

On the way, there were no trucks, it is a small road, pleasant, with many cenotes, where I stop at least once a day to be able to enjoy a good bathe. Is traditional Mexico for us all to carry our dreams, with colored gowns, small village churches and the wonderful ruins of Chichen Itza. I had no problem to assemble my tent, asking people for the best place to stay, some open their door or at least the door of their garden. Then I went back to Cancun, to disarm the bike, put it on the plane, direction to Europe!
