Incredible village
Every traveller should meet see this amazing place in the corner of Argentina on their way to Machu Picchu or Bolivia. By the end of 1700 social and economic activity here far exceeded the development in San Salvador de Jujuy. It's 20 minutes from the City of Quiaca, at 3500m above sea level (the views are absolutely spectacular). This small but charming village stands as a monument to the man who respects their land and whose customs are maintained over time . The next village is Yavi (where there was once the seat of the Marquis de Tojo, back in 1708). Talking to people in the community we discover that along the river there are still everyday pieces of archaeological value such as arrowheads, pottery, etc.
