Yamashita Park

After spending all day in Yokohama Chinatown, the largest one in Japan, I decided to walk to the Minato Mirai district. I discovered this park, extending over 750 meters into the docks of the city. This is certainly one of the most beautiful walks you can go on in the city. Weather permitting, you can find many locals sitting around enjoying the views. At first I sat on a bench at the entrance and then, resisting to leave, I sat at a small table at the end of the walk, quite near Minato Mirai. A Japanese lady invited me to sit with her and we conversed in English. I was amazed that a lady so old could speak English.
