Würth is a screws company (mainly), and although this may sound like a place few may want to visit, in reality it is the coolest place I’ve seen in a long time. Pieces by Picasso, Magritte, Warhol and Lichtenstein in the middle of nowhere? Yes. I am super enthusiastic when it comes to taking advantage of industrial spaces to house art pieces (like the slaughterhouse in Madrid), so this Würth museum has won me over.
Würth is a big German company that manufactures screws and other machinery (all very German) and its owner, Reinhold Würth, an art collector, decided in 2007 to open in the small town of Agoncillo one of the offices of its Foundation.
