Wooden church
The Favang Wooden Church is located in the municipality of Ringebu, specifically Favang and was built between 1627 and 1630. Its peculiarity is that it has been built with materials from other churches previously demolished. The oldest items which this church has made with dates back to the twelfth century. This fact and the subsequent amendments make it very valuable. Apart from all this, I think its greatest appeal lies in the surrounding environment, in a beautiful valley called Gudbrandsdal or as it is known "Valley of the Valley".
