A free attraction
Coming from the south towards Moab, this natural bridge is an aperitif for the subsequent discovery of Arches park! The Wilson Arch, named after a local pioneer, Joe Wilson, is an example of a fairly common geological formation in the area; there are a number of these natural arches in the park. To visit is completely free, a simple encounter with Mother Nature by the roadside of 191. This beautiful monument was created mostly by frost eroding the sandstone.
