If you fancy a cup of tea, but most of all if you want to enjoy the best meringue of your life, you should definitely stop at Willow Tea Rooms on Sauchiehall Street. It is locally famous because it faithfully reproduces the Mackintosh draft: the structure of the tea room chairs, its distinctive feature, but also the cutlery and plates were designed by him. I recommend the meringue, the historic dish of the restaurant (do not worry about the calories for awhile)!
