Stunning

The Wieskirke is the famous rococo church on the plains near Steingaden, Germany. The Wies, as it's locally known, was erected in 1754, and it's the venerated image of "whipped Salvador" in the "wies", or meadow. For this reason, pilgrimages led up to this church. The artists and architects who excelled in its construction include the Dominikus brothers and Johan Baptist Zimmermann. The building is a wonderful an oval floor with marvellous rococo decoration inside. The famous pulpit excels in beauty, as well as the profusion of mixed columns with stunning frescoes.
