El Viajero
historically most important street
This street is historically the most important of the city. It goes from the pier at Calle Real and ends at the foot of the most important church of the city, la Prioral.
They have conserved the original cobblestone pavement (although it's been repaired), where they once transported goods that came from the sea. The road was used by the noble families to settle into the town. Nowadays the promenade is where the people of the city gather, but this street was once the urban heart of the city. It is adorned with trees, planters and terrariums that make it hard to park. Some of the oldest buildings in Puerto Real can be seen on this beautiful street.
