Whitehaven
The seaport of Whitehaven was for some time the third most important port in the UK with commercial connections to the most important ports in the world. This meant long periods of prosperity for this town in Cumbria in the northwest of England. This reached its peak in the Georgian era (1714 - 1830), whereafter the port lost prestige due to the decline of the mining and other industrial activities. This does not happen in the case of Whitehaven, as soon the whole village was transformed to accommodate the availability of the new times. This is the result of the villa we found today, mixing the modern with the historic and offering multiple options to visitors.
