Whitehart Pub in Edinburgh dates back to 1500 and has both history and tradition. The famous poet Robert Burns spent a lot of time here as can be seen in the wooden beams that are decorated with his verses. It was also a place where marriages were arranged at the time. It also has a grim history from the nineteenth century when two young offenders were captured after a murder. The news from that time hang on the walls. I went on my last night in Edinburgh. It is a place where you can have some good and traditional food while watching a live performance. That night there was a guitarist and a violinist who would have impressed even Sherlock Holmes.
