It was a tremendous thing to be able to photograph the place where countless different species of birds live. They all photographed very well, and I enjoyed taking their pictures. The mouth of the river Lluta is a must-see journey on the migratory route of many birds that come from as far away as the Arctic and the Alaskan tundra. At the start of cold months of each year, thousands of birds leave America to migrate to South America in search of a warmer climate as part of their natural life cycle. Within their migratory routes are key sites are wetlands where birds come to rest and feed and then continue traveling or staying.
