Week of Fabes in Colunga

En un marco tan bello como es la Villa de Colunga en el Oriente de Asturias, pudimos disfrutar de la XX jornada de les fabes de Colunga, un certamen ya con mucha fama porque realmente la faba por esta zona se da muy bien, es muy buena y resultado de ello es que tenga su propia fiesta. Durante los días en los que se celebra este festival encontramos diferentes actividades como exposiciones y venta de productos relacionados con las fabas, actuaciones en directo de grupos musicales, exposiciones, concursos etc, pero sin duda lo mejor es darle al yantar y comer en uno de los múltiples restaurantes que hay en Colunga y alrededores diferentes fabadas que pueden ser cocinadas de modo tradicional o con almejas o con bogavante, o con calamares... De todo y para todos los gustos, no faltes a su cita del año que viene.

En Colunga, durante el mes de diciembre y coincidiendo con el puente de la constitución, se celebra la “Semana de les Fabes” una feria de carácter festivo y gastronómico. Durante la semana, los restaurantes del concejo ofrecen, a quienes lo deseen, menús especiales en los cuales, les fabes, son el principal protagonista.
