Wathey Square

Wathey Square is the central square of Philipsburg, which connects the main street called Front Street with Captain Hodge Pier and Great Bay Beach. It is a pedestrian square, with two rows of sturdy palm trees in the center under the benches, and is surrounded by duty free shops. At the corner of Front Street there is a tourist information office, as well as the Palace of Justice (Court House). It is also an easy place to grab a taxi.
