Cruelty to animals

It is possibly the most famous of the activities offered. The Tiger Temple is a temple where there are tigers. These animals have been brought to the temple as a business under the guise of having them there to be working for a good cause. They are not free to move about the temple as you see in publicity but they're drugged and tied to trees. All visitors get behind the monk (in groups of 30 or 40 people) and one by one approach a space and for no more than of no more than three seconds they take a photo which they then sell to you. At the end you get to an area where there are more tigers and their caregivers.

If you pay about 30 Euros after a half hour queue of about 45 minutes they let you get close to take a photo touching it. And that's it! Our advice is that if you like these animals see them in a zoo or in a photographic safari.
