So rich in history
Located at 3101 Wisconsin Avenue, the road that passes by the charming district of Georgetown, The National Cathedral in Washington is one of the most historic monuments of the federal capital and merits a visit (even if it is not very convenient to access as the nearest subway station is a 15-minute walk after a 20-minute subway ride from downtown DC). Curiously, it was built in the early twentieth century but it seems very much like our European cathedrals from the Middle Ages. We also liked its beautiful stained glass windows.
