M. C.
An interesting site
The home of Washington Irving is an interesting place to visit, but the visit is rather long. The house is outside of town, in Tarrytown, in the Hudson Valley, and close to other Victorian mansions.
There is a small shop with souvenirs related to Halloween and to the legend of the famous story. The visit, led by a few women dressed in the style of 'Little House on the Prairie', is good, though it is rather long. I think the entrance fee is around thirteen dollars.
