An educational museum
"Experience Life in a Wartime House" is a free museum in the Piermaster's House on the Albert Docks, close to the River Mersey. During the tour you can visit the different parts of the house that have been designed to present the lifestyle of families living in Liverpool during the Second World War. It is simple, even austere, and the people who lived here were sometimes forced to cram 5 or 6 in a room designed for one person!
