Wapta Falls

Half way between the towns of Golden and Field, and within the Yoho National Park, you can visit these spectacular waterfalls. If the Takakkaw waterfalls are famous noted for their height, these waterfalls stand out for the sheer volume of water that they carry. It is usually not too crowded in this area, I guess the 45 minute hike to get there puts some people off going.
