Walea Dive Resort

Togean Islands are a group of some 60 islands north of Sulawesi. These islands are not easy to reach by land, and it is a long trip in Sulawesi. There is only one connection flight daily from Luwuk, 2 hours by boat and 2 by road, but it is worth it in order to see Walea, a small resort owned by some Italians that can accommodate up to 30 people, in 12 bungalows. There is a spa located on a small hill with fantastic views over the sea, and the Indonesians there are indigenous. The restaurant is an interesting mix of cuisine from Italy, Europe, and Asia.
