A good market
Waitrose supermarket is very good. It is the only British supermarket that reminds me of what we have in France, with a wide selection of fresh produce including French-style bread. The founders of the brand, Wallace Waite, Arthur Rose and David Taylor, opened their first small grocery shop at 263 Acton Hill, West London in 1904. They couldn't have known that a century later, the company would become one of the leading food retailers in the country with more than 37,000 employees. In 1937, they signed a partnership with the John Lewis group.
