Sierra Negra

The last eruption of this volcano was in 2005 and you can still feel the heat if you approach a crack. We did a 5 hour Trek around the immense crater to get into a moonscape and see smoke rising from the volcano on a whole new scale. It is certainly an incomparable experience and for a few hours you will feel like you're on a new plant. See nature in a way you never have before and enjoy the beauty of desolation, the brightness of the dried lava and lava tunnels, the colors and much more.
