The city of Rio de Janeiro is well known for its natural beauty, and there's in no shortage of views to admire. This is undoutedly one of the best places to admire the landscape, located in Alto da Boa Vista. From here you can see some of the city's main attractions - Christ the Redeemer, the Sugarloaf, the bay of Guanabara, the Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, Las Cagarras Islands, and more.
On the site is a charming Chinese bamboo pagoda. The name comes from the Chinese farmers from the Portuguese colony of Macao, who arrived in the city of Rio de Janeiro in the nineteenth century. The easiest way to get here is by car or taxi from the South Zone; there are also some bus lines in place, and for those who want to take the risk, you can climb on foot or by bike.
