Even if I say in the location, it is not Gokak, but Gokarna, as I said yesterday, a town in the state of Karnataka, south of Goa, in the country's southwest coast. A site revered by the Hindu religion, which considers it, the place where Mother Earth conceived to Siva. A Gokarna can be reached by taxi Autobusy shared (small vans that you share with other people), from nearby locations, which are: Kumta 36 km, 25km and Karwar Ankola 59 km. There are also bus from the cities of Goa, Bangalore and Mangalore. The town has the charm of the ancient Indian, their home, their land, their environment, little shops with gifts for Hindu temples, (things people buy there, as visitors hidusitas l other parts of country are more Gokarna abundant than those of otraspartes the world) is a llugar sacred to them. The mix of colors in your palm and coconut trees, the clean blue waters (even so, it is difficult to see them enjoying the sea them, the Indians are not fond of baths or swimming). A number of craft shops just give you the glow lacks the red dirt floor. Here you will find crafts at a very good, hammocks, textiles, sandals made for your foot and in your eyes (if you have patience), sarongs, jewelry, ... Sitting on the street, in a restaurant in town and enjoy the dishes while life we pass the place, ......... is a delight. The best story (apart from the foot sandals made) I go to exchange office and see half the building missing because they are remodeling the street and some houses had been taken from their wealth .... Not to mention the beaches of the place, because that is another chapter.
