Villarrica, Volcanic Caves
On one of my trips, as a wandering cook, a few years ago, after preparing an event in the forest, on the slopes of the volcano, I was able to to the heart of a volcano, the only experience comparable is what one sees in movies or documentaries, these caves were formed when lava came up from the bottom of the earth, making its way and finding a way out, then, when in contact with the atmosphere the surface began to solidify until finally the process of eruption ends, and leaves behind empty caves which form a tunnel through which the journey was made. The place has an appropriate light, dim and mysterious that creates an intimidating atmosphere, not for nothing are the mapuches called Rucapillan or house of the devil, and remember that this is in a still active volcano, perhaps the most active in all of Chile.
