Village Longjing

Some of the most beautiful landscapes of southern China are the terraces in the villages near Longsheng. To reach Longsheng you have to travel by bus from Guilin. There are no buses in Longsheng. The village of Ping An is the starting point for visits to the villages and the mountains.You must pay to enter here, 5 euros.It is a good place to stay for one or two nights, but if you want to retuen, the last bus is at 17:30. Longjing Village is just outside the city of Hangzhou. It is a village dedicated to the production of tea. You can see traditional buildings and plantations surrounded by mountains. Beware of the locals inviting you to try the tea, as prices there are usually much more expensive than normal. Highly Recommended on foot, as it is a nice walk from the lake, if you want to trek for the day. Another option is to take a bus.
