Villa la Argentina Hotel
Villar, located outside the walls of Luarca (near the cemetery), has the largest collection of Indian houses in Asturias. Although many have succumbed to the ravages of time, others, like the splendid Villa La Argentina have remained largely intact. After going through periods of decline and neglect, Villa La Argentina was declared a national heritage site in 1990, restored and opened as a hotel in 1998. The building retains its spectacular modernist kitsch decor, somewhat reminiscent of the "belle epoque" style(I love it!), Neo-Gothic chapel and a beautiful garden.
