Viewpoint to the Alps in Penzberg

After the Edeka Centre on Henlerstrase Street there is a paved road that leads to a hiking path. I spent half an hour touring the area and was told that the small hill was created with the debris removed from the mine. You can see remnants of its mining past like old mining trolleys. There is also a newly built chapel at Santa Barbara. Along the way there are two viewpoints with views of the Alps and a poster with information on all the peaks of the mountains.
