5 reviews of Viewpoint Port of the Boyar

Viewpoint in Cadiz that is the most significant

The most significant viewpoint across the province of Cadiz. Although standing on a mountain with only 1103 meters on a sunny day it can be seen 100 miles away. It is the best way to access Grazalema, which is less than 2 miles away after some curves. To the right is the Sierra del Pinar, where you can see the forest of pines, tree species that are extinct in most parts of the world and surviving in these mountains because rainfall is the most important point of the peninsula. On the left the mountains of Endrinal, with Mediterranean grennery. The importance of this viewpoint increases with a good level of equipment, there is a temple, forest house, drinking fountains, cleaning service, tables and bbqs.

And because it is the starting point of many popular hiking trails. It is a magical viewpoint in the winter because it snows. These days half the province takes goes on the road and glass all around with thousands of cars. For Cadiz it is a party because snow is unusual being so close to Africa and because it is accessible.

Mountainous in pure state, the wind cuts the mountains, sharp needles hanging from the branches of trees elsewhere
