One of London's busiest terminals

London Victoria Station is one of London's busiest terminals. There's a subway station, a train station and bus station (with national and Euroline buses). The English take the bus to go to nearby towns such as Oxford, Leicester and Portsmouth more than the train (which has fewer services and is more expensive). With megabus.Com you can find tickets from £1/journey. The train station has services to the west and south of the country, including many direct trains for London Gatwick airport that take 20 minutes (you can buy your ticket on board). The station was built for the Great Exhibition of 1851, it was then Crystal Palace Station, for Expo travelers.

Victoria Railway Station is London's most famous for its location (in the center, close to Westminster Cathedral and Buckingham Palace) and its size and strategic importance within the rail network of Britain. Highlights include the tourist information center located at the junction of Victoria Street and Buckingham St and the small bus station. There are also all kinds of services including restaurants, cafes, ATMs, bureaux de change etc. It is also connected to the metro.
