After the heat, look for the cold
Getting to the shelter in Italy was complex. My feet ached, the steep mountain tested my physical abilities, which clearly weren't very fit. But nothing was going to stop me from seeing that really beautiful place. A large pot of water was boiled, we had cups in hand, and we couldn't stop looking out the window to the beautiful outdoors waiting for us.
