Many historical tourist attractions
Veliko Tarnovo is a town in northern Bulgaria which used to be the capital of the Second Bulgarian Empire. The city has so many historical tourist attractions, the main being the ruin of what once was the imperial city, which is on a hill opposite the modern part of the city. In winter, many visit to ski in the region of Veliko Tarnovo, and most of all get a sight of the people of this country, and many Englishmen. Most restaurants and hotels have staff who speak several languages, and stores use signs in English. The main street gives little show to the truth that things are supposedly cheaper in Andorra than in neighboring countries, like Romania and Greece.
