Au passage le village "rouge" d'Abachkou vaut à lui seul le détour, mais toute la vallée est digne d'intérêt avec sa petite bande cultivée entre les montagnes du Haut Atlas. Au début de la route d'ailleurs, dans une épingle à cheveu, un hameau, non loin du confluent de deux oueds, présente un agadir surélevé du plus bel effet avec ses quatre tours d'angle: à ne pas manquer.
