Without a doubt, from here you get the best views of the city of Toledo. This road takes us to the chapel of the Virgen del Valle that joins the bridges of Alcántara and San Martín (two entrances to the city).
Along this short road we find various viewpoints. My recommendation is to leave the car next to one of them to take a small walk in the area.
I was in Toledo last September and I can’t think of something that I didn’t like. For me it was an incredible experience to experience everything that I had read in books, that my grandparents talked about and that my parents made sure we didn’t forget. Every landscape was a memory, a song, a saying heard and learned at home.
I was so amazed with Toledo that my friend who came with me and hosted me in her house told me every step of the way “Marta, close your mouth, your jaw is going to fall”. I’m glad that I haven’t lost the capacity of being marveled with everything.
I love this place. Whenever I feel sad I go up to the valley, I sit next to the wall with my mp4 and I observe how beautiful and marvelous Toledo is. I can assure you that it clears your head and leaves you very relaxed.
I went here before taking the bus again to Madrid.
