Valle de la Luna

Nunca estuve en la luna (creo) Pero este lugar es lo mas cercano de estar en la luna pero en la tierra. Se grabaron varios comerciales publicitarios aquí y la nasa con sus experimentos también por su parecido a la luna. Este gurar me impreciono mucho ya fui tres veces y en la ultima tuve que pagar para entrar pero son como $200 chilenos, algo así como tres euros. espero que lo difruten. En teoría no se puede estar de noche pero intentelo igual y sobre todo con luna llena.

A ver, todo empezó por un viaje del colegio, la gira de estudios, acá en Chile es un viaje muy famoso que se hace en casi todos los colegios. Recorrimos el Norte de Chile, no entero pero muchos lugares, partiendo desde Arica, después a Iquique y pasando por varios pueblos pequeños, llegamos a San Pedro de Atacama a alojar en el Hotel Diego de Almagro, un Hotel bueno, con piscina y gente muy simpática... te atienden excelente. Al día siguiente, con mi curso, tuvimos que levantarnos temprano a los Geisers del Tatio, un lugar a más de cuatro mil metros de altura, donde fuertes chorros, masas de agua salen de la tierra a temperaturas muy altas, que incluso pueden llegar a los 85°C, además de ver un paisaje poco común, y si tienen suerte, poder ver animales de la zona. Al llegar de los Geisers fuimos a recorrer la ciudad y luego visitar otros lugares, como la Laguna Chaxa una laguna rodeada de piedras de sal y de flamencos! un lugar al cual tienen que ir si o si. Luego de la Laguna Chaxa y muchos pueblos pequeños llegamos al Valle de la Luna, a ver el atardecer, algo totalmente increíble, sin duda una de las cosas más lindas que e visto, tuvimos que llegar en auto hasta la base de una duna de arena, y luego empezar a caminar mientras veíamos como el sol iba bajando poco a poco, paso un rato, luego de recorrer muchas cúspides, llegamos a la última y más alta a ver como el sol se escondía, y los colores de las piedras en el valle iban cambiando de tonalidades, era admirable, empezamos a sacarnos fotos entre todos los compañeros, yo creo que las fotos más buenas, con el paisaje más lindo que e sacado en mi vida hasta ahora... Es algo que no se lo pueden perder, si o si, vayan a ese lugar, no se van a arrepentir=) Agustín Torres

Una de las atracciones del valle de la luna, la mas importante, es el recorrido que se realiza del parque. Una vez llegamos a la base del complejo formamos una caravana de automóviles y, acompañados por un guía de grupo que nos fue explicando las diferentes formaciones de piedras y la historia del lugar, comenzamos la visita. Las paradas mas conocidas son cancha de bochas al principio, el submarino y hacia el final del recorrido, casi sobre el atardecer, llegamos a la ultima formación, el hongo. Apartados de grupo y aprovechando la mejor hora del día hicimos un par de fotos con mi novia. En el camino de regreso, bordeando el cordón montañoso rojizo, pudimos avistar varios animales salvajes como ñandúes y llamas. Nuestra experiencia fue durante el mes de octubre, el clima fue realmente espectacular. El recorrido lo comenzamos a las 15 hs y dura aproximadamente 3 hs. Al separarnos del grupo sobre el final demoramos un poco mas y llegamos a base nuevamente a las 19 hs.

El Valle de la Luna está a 6 km al suroeste de san Pedro de Atacama y se puede ir tanto en coche como en bici. Recomendamos visitar este rincón por libre. Por su cercanía y su espectacularidad, para nosotros sin lugar a dudas es el lugar ideal para disfrutar de la puesta de sol, sentir como los últimos rayos de luz van dejando paso a la oscuridad y al frío nocturno. No hemos estado en la Luna, pero creemos que pocos sitios en el mundo deben hacerte sentir como si estuvieses en nuestro satélite y este seguramente sea uno de ellos. El punto que recomendamos para disfrutar del atardecer es sobre las crestas que se extienen al lado de la Gran Duna y viendo de frente el Anfiteatro. Sencillamente ¡espectacular!

Siempre había escuchado que el valle de la luna tenía una energía única, y siendo ya segunda vez que iba, creo que no podría haberlo disfrutado más!! ver el atardecer sentado en un rincón alejado de todo el mundo cosmopolita que se ve en San Pedro y sentir el frío que te cala los huesos y el aire frío en la cara, es la mejor mezcla, cielo azul, café intenso y el silencio que solo se puede disfrutar en el desierto de Atacama.

Yo soy de clima frío, de color verde. Jamás pensé que un lugar de calor desértico terminaría siendo uno de mis lugares favoritos en mi viaje a Sudamérica. En San Pedro de Atacama me tocó disfrutar de noches estrelladas, caminatas por sus calles en medio de casas hechas de adobe y lo mejor de todo fueron los recorridos que hice a distintos puntos turísticos en bicicleta. Un lugar imperdible fue el Valle de la Luna. Ahí me tocó disfrutar un par de veces el atardecer, los colores pasteles que se ven a lo largo de las montañas de Atacama son únicas. Estar ahí es sentirse como en otro planeta.

Bueno mi experienci al llegar a este lugar me dejo con la boca abierta un lugar mágico y natural que esta muy lejo de la gran cuídate uno sale de lo común y se tranforma a un coliceo natural como el de roma pero hecho por la naturalesa es maravilloso , las texturas y colores son muy bellas y las puesta de sol te mata como cambien los colores de la tierra . Es un lugar muy parecido a la luna por eso su nombre el valle de la luna tienes que conocerlo si o si .
