Vale Europeu

O Vale Europeu é caracterizado uma região formada por imigrantes alemães em sua maioria. A colonização começou por volta do ano de 1850, quando chegaram as primeiras famílias germânicas, onde hoje é o atual Vale do Rio Itajaí. Com o passar do tempo as colônias se transformaram em cidades, sendo as principais Itajaí, Brusque e Blumenau. Atualmente o Vale Europeu é muito conhecido por suas belezas naturais,e pelas suas festas típicas,sendo a mais tradicional, a comemoração do Oktuber Fest em Blumenau. Todos os anos, no mês de outubro, a cidade fica lotada de turistas e visitantes, que chegam de todas a partes para comemorar a famosa festa da cerveja. Sente-se em toda a região a presença da colonização alemã, principalmente no idioma e nas construções estilo enxaimel.Todo o vale é cortado pelo (Rio Itajaí), que proporciona grandes áreas de cultivos de frutas e legumes em geral. Com certeza viajar pelo "Vale Europeu" é como estar em um pedacinho da Europa.
