UXO is the acronym for "unexploded...

UXO is the acronym for "unexploded ordnance" UXO which now covers the northern territory of Laos. It's about anti-personnel, but also cluster munitions which an estimated 30% do not explode even when conditions are "ideal" Mine! However, Laos has the grim distinction of being the most bombed country in the world - including more than 500,000 bombing by the U.S. Army between 1964 and 1973. Today, it is estimated that less than 1% of all of these explosives was neutralized, and that is why you see many boneless bombs used as decoration, as well as UXO logo - and do NEVER leave the trails! http://www.uxolao.org/uxo% 20problem.html
