Interesting site to see
The unfinished chapels are located near the Monastery of Batalha, al although they are separate, they don't have a direct access. This is a place that impresses everyone because you never expect to see something like this. You enter as you would any other chapel, but once you are inside, you realize that the two chapels that are not finished, they do not have roofs.
They are perfectly finished in every part, is, that is to say that they have walls with ornaments of all kinds, arches lining the walls that are perfectly finished off, and even have wonderful stained glass that magically illuminate the place. The only thing missing from these two chapels is the ceiling! Look up and see the sky.
It's the strangest feeling and always amazes visitors. Most people end up in the middle of one of the chapels and then they start spinning and looking towards the sky, don't ask me why, but everyone does. The structure is octagonal shape and the style is Gothic. Apparently, the two chapels were never completed because the then ruler, Manuel I, ordered the workers abandon begin construction on the Jeronimos Monastery in the Portuguese city of Belem. Since then, the chapels remained unfinished until today.
