Unamuno Square in the Old Town of Bilbao
Unamuno Square is the busiest place in Bilbao. Turning to the left, you'll see the entrance to the subway. During the week, many people spend the afternoon shopping here, and in the seven surrounding streets - that is, the old town - you can find all sorts of shops. At the weekend, it's full of young people who want to spend the nights in Calle Iturribide (on the left) or Barrenkale (on the right), with a wide variety of bars, clubs and pubs. In the photo, you can see the Bilbao Museum, known for having a great Egyptian section with artifacts from Cleopatra and Tutankhamun. Going up those stairs, and a few more, because you have to climb a lot, you get to Etxebarria Square.
