UAA Rock Garden

This geological rock garden is located on the campus of the University of Anchorage, designed by the Department of Geology so that people can appreciate some of the natural Alaskan stones. Most come from local mines and there are several pieces of petrified wood. It is an interesting place where you can see a little bit of the state's unique geologic history.
