I can't recommend this store at all. I bought a Santiago cake from santiago and I was forced to buy some Pedras too that they put in my bag. When I got home the box was empty. I called and not only did they not offer to help but they threatened to report me for theft.

La Perla es una de las numerosas tiendas de productos típicos que hay en Santiago de Compostela, a donde los peregrinos y turistas acuden a comprar la famosa tarta de Santiago (hecha con almendras y espolvoreada con azúcar glas), melindres, las típicas piedras de Santiago (bombones de almendras), roscón o la popular empanada gallega. En esta calle de San Francisco (junto a la Catedral) hay varias, pero también encontraréis otras muchas en la rúa del Villar o en el Franco.

La Perla is one of the many stores that are typical products in Santiago de Compostela, where pilgrims and tourists flock to buy the famous Santiago cake (made with almonds and dusted with icing sugar), ladyfingers, stones typical of Santiago (almond candy), or the popular roscón Galician empanada. On this street of San Francisco (near the Cathedral) several, but also find many in the Rua del Villar or Franco.
