Turist Office

The Tourist Office is, like all government departments, in the Town Square. It's a small but complete and we were very kindly given all kinds of information about what we could see and what we should not fail to see, maps, event calendars, handbooks on the science fair, dinosaur exhibit, books on Castelo Branco embroidery. Lots of fern plants, cactus and some small flowering plants cheered the place on that steamy summer afternoon. Office hours are Monday-Friday 9:30-19:30, Saturday and Sunday 9:30-13:00 and 14:30-18:00.
